OSHIOMHOLE: IF BUHARI DECIDES TO PROBE POWER SECTOR, OBASANJO WILL FACE PROSECUTION

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress,(APC) Mr Adams Oshiomhole, said on  Friday that Olusegun Obasanjo would not escape prosecution if President Buhari decides to probe the power sector.

Adams Oshiomhole spoke during Jos opening of Plateau State  Governor Simon Lalong’s re-election campaign at the Rwang Pam's Stadium.

 

 

Oshiomhole said: in 1999 Obasanjo said that if he was elected as President with Atiku Abubakar as his Vice president, he'll use a good six months to fix the power sector and there would be electricity supply all over Nigeria. Many years later, we realized what he intended.

Obasanjo and his Vice spent $16 Billion on power sector, and after eight years there where more darkness in Nigeria. So when President Buhari w elected in 2015, he asked a question; where is the power? If President Buhari the answer to that question to its reasoning conclusion, he must put Obasanjo on case.

Oshiomhole indicate regrets that those he said supervised the collapse of the power sector and other sectors of the economy had come together to return to power.

He urged Nigerians not to vote for them in the forthcoming General elections to enable the country to move on.
